Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Fulfillment Center Supervisor to lead second-shift outbound operations at our Jeffersonville, IN facility. This role drives staffing, coaching, and performance to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped correctly and on time.

You will manage labor costs, develop schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards while collaborating with internal teams and customers. Occasional cross-location support and minimal travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Experience leading employees, coaching performance, managing attendance, and accountability.
• Warehouse or distribution experience with pick, pack, ship operations.
• Experience managing staffing, schedules, overtime, productivity, and daily labor needs.
• Ability to read budgets and manage labor costs.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with limited onsite support.
• Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Experience with barcode scanners and warehouse tech.
• Strong Excel skills to review reports and drive productivity.
• Customer-focused mindset with emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Jeffersonville distribution center, focusing on second-shift outbound operations.
• Lead hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, performance management, attendance, and employee relations.
• Plan staffing, overtime, and workload based on order volume and productivity goals.
• Manage labor and operating costs within a set budget.
• Maintain a safe, clean, compliant work environment.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, moving, and shipping of orders.
• Monitor KPIs such as ship-on-time and shipping quality.
• Support inventory control and loss-prevention activities and temperature records as applicable.
