Job summary

Taylor Corporation, a family‑owned print and communications company, seeks a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor at our Jeffersonville, IN facility to lead daily production, safety, and quality metrics. You’ll manage the production team, audit quality, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring on‑time delivery and strong communication across shifts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of manufacturing leadership, strong problem solving, and the ability to champion lean practices.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in manufacturing leadership; print industry preferred.
• Excellent communication to express team improvement and goals.
• Technical ability to troubleshoot equipment and make decisions.
• Strong organization to monitor workflow and meet daily output goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of production staff - establish and promote a team-based environment
• Promote and uphold all company safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure that the shift productivity and OEE goals are met
• Maintain quality and service by promoting and enforcingorganizations standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with scheduling, front office and production leadership to evaluate capacity and proactively allocate resources throughout the shift
• Recommend measurements to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality.
• Maintain and monitortraining progress of new operators and entry level employees.
• Conduct reviews with team members related to performance goals, quality, preventative maintenance and safety.
• OverseeanddirectContinuous Improvement Projects and report monthly on their progress.

Your Responsibilities:

You Must Have:

• Technical skills to troubleshoot equipment issues and makeappropriate decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility to monitor workflow and adjust resources in order to meet daily output goals and customer needs.

• Leadership experience and training.
• Continuous Improvement/ lean Manufacturing experience.
