Aramark is seeking a Custodial Manager to lead second-shift custodial operations at a K-12 facility. You will supervise a team, plan staffing, and ensure a clean, safe environment for students and staff while meeting client expectations.

You will conduct training, manage schedules, perform quality inspections, and coordinate special cleaning projects. The role emphasizes safety, accountability, and operational excellence within a district setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years custodial, housekeeping, facilities, or environmental services experience.
• 1–2 years supervisory or management experience.
• Experience leading frontline teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workforce management systems.
• Ability to work evenings and respond to operational issues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop a second-shift custodial team.
• Conduct training for cleaning procedures, safety, and customer service.
• Manage scheduling, attendance, performance, and engagement.
• Foster teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Direct daily custodial activities to meet cleanliness standards.
• Perform quality audits and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate special cleaning projects and seasonal deep-cleaning.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and client requests.
• Serve as primary contact for school administrators and stakeholders.
• Respond to service concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain positive relationships with district personnel and client reps.
• Promote safety culture; ensure OSHA and policy compliance.
• Maintain chemical handling, storage, and usage procedures.
• Investigate and document safety incidents and concerns.
• Monitor supply inventories and equipment condition.
• Assist with labor management and budgetary controls.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operational.
• Complete payroll, scheduling, and inspections accurately.
• Track KPIs and identify service enhancements.
• Participate in client meetings and operational reviews.
