Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. is hiring a Return Dock Specialist in The Colony, TX for 2nd shift, 1:00-10:00pm with Tue/Wed off. You’ll focus on processing returned customer purchases and correctly coding uncrated merchandise.

Daily duties include verifying return orders, inspecting products for defects, completing paperwork, tagging items, assigning status codes, wrapping merchandise, and moving items safely. A positive attitude and basic lifting are required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months customer contact experience.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• Ability to lift/push/pull required weights.
• Operate scanning equipment preferred.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes background check.

Responsibilities

• Verify all return orders during check-in.
• Inspect product for defects.
• Process paperwork, tag products and assign status coding for returns.
• Wrap merchandise and properly note any arising problems on order.
• Move the product to where it needs to go safely.
