Community Solutions Inc. (CSI) is seeking a Second Shift, Per Diem Residential Coach at Lisa’s House in Plainville, CT. You will provide direct supervision, daily care, and supportive services for adolescent girls within a DBT‑driven program.

The role emphasizes gender‑specific, relational, trauma‑informed approaches, with duties including group and individual counseling, transportation, crisis response, and participation in weekly planning. Training and offsite requirements apply.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree preferred in Human Service or related field, with at least six months of relevant experience.
• Must be familiar with gender‑responsive, relational, strengths‑based and trauma‑informed approaches.
• Must be able to work with challenging youth and families.
• Knowledge of Spanish in oral and written communication is desired.
• Must be able to attend all first shift offsite training required for the position.

Responsabilidades

• Performs duties involving care, custody, maintenance, educational and recreational planning and facilitation for youth in alignment with program’s therapeutic model.
• Counsels and advises girls in groups and individually by modeling appropriate behavior and encouraging positive relationships.
• Contributes to a safe program community and culture.
• Facilitates daily focus and skills development groups.
• Develops and promotes gender‑specific approaches.
• Maintains a gender‑specific, relational, culturally competent, and strength‑based culture within the program environment.
• Participates in weekly planning of program goals and objectives with assigned youth.
• Transports girls to scheduled appointments/activities and provides line‑of‑sight supervision.
• Implements and monitors the program’s behavior‑motivation system.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, empathy, and pro‑social behavior.
• Ensures medication is administered per policies.
• Responds to crises to ensure safety of youth and others.
• Completes required trainings during shifts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
