Job summary

Community Solutions, Inc. (CSI) in Plainville, CT seeks a Residential Coach (FT) for the Lisa's House program. The role supports adolescent girls through DBT‑informed care, safety, and skill‑building within a gender‑specific living setting.

Schedule is Saturday to Wednesday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with starting wage $21.51 per hour plus shift differentials. Duties include counseling, documentation, medication administration, and crisis response, with emphasis on relational, strengths‑based

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred, or minimum of two years of professional experience in human services.
• Familiarity with gender‑responsive, relational, strengths‑based, and trauma‑informed practices.
• Ability to work effectively with challenging youth and families.
• Availability to attend first‑shift off‑site training during the first month of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care, supervision, and support services for residents.
• Implement the therapeutic model through individual and group counseling, skill‑building groups, and behavior management techniques.
• Maintain a safe, gender‑specific, relational, culturally competent, and strengths‑based environment.
• Participate in weekly program planning, goals setting, and case conferences.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and reports in web‑based and paper logs.
• Oversee cleanliness and security of the living environment and transport residents to appointments.
• Support family visits and mediate conflicts when necessary.
• Administer medication according to agency policies.
• Respond to crisis and emergency situations promptly.
• Complete required training and comply with all CSSD and CSI policies.
