Job summary

Community Solutions Inc. (CSI) seeks a Per Diem Residential Coach to supervise and support adolescent females at Lisa’s House in Plainville, CT. The role focuses on daily care, behavior modeling, and therapy-informed activities within a DBT-based program.

Primary shifts are first shift with per diem scheduling. Starting pay is $21.51 per hour, with applicable shift differentials and per diem terms. The position emphasizes safety, crisis response, and collaboration with families and staff to

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred in Human Service or related field
• Two years of professional experience in human services acceptable in lieu of a degree
• Must be familiar with gender-responsive, relational, strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches
• Must be able to work with challenging youth and families
• Knowledge of Spanish is desired

Responsibilities

• Care, custody, maintenance, educational and recreational planning and facilitation for youth in alignment with program’s therapeutic model
• Counsel and advise girls in groups and individually, modeling appropriate behavior
• Contributes to a safe program community and culture
• Facilitates daily focus and skills development groups
• Maintains gender-specific, relational, culturally competent and strengths-based culture
• Transports girls to appointments and activities
• Implements and monitors the program’s behavior motivation system
• Responds to crisis/emergency situations and ensures youth safety
