Job summary

Element Biosciences seeks a dynamic Supervisor, Reagent Manufacturing for the 2nd shift in San Diego. You will lead a team of technicians across the reagent manufacturing value stream, driving production execution and continuous improvement in a fast-paced genomics environment.

The role reports to the Manager, Reagent Manufacturing and requires a strong background in manufacturing leadership, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with Process Engineering and Quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related discipline.
2+ years of relevant manufacturing/engineering experience in life sciences or biotech.
Prior experience leading or supervising manufacturing personnel is required.
ISO 13485 knowledge preferred and Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt favored.

Responsibilities

Directs manufacturing leads and team members to meet day-to-day production goals and schedules.
Accountable for KPI attainment and daily production plan execution.
Establishes production schedules and priorities with manager oversight.
Contributes to technology transfer and new product introduction as the voice of Manufacturing.
Partners with Process Engineering and others to enable troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Leads hiring decisions and training programs for the shift team.
Ensures adherence to safety and quality systems and ISO requirements.
