Job summary

Kondex Corporation, a leading manufacturer of cutting and wear-resistant components, seeks a Quality Technician to support off-shift manufacturing operations. You will inspect products, program CMMs, conduct process audits, and drive continuous improvement on the floor with production teams.

Qualifications include 4+ years in manufacturing, 1-2 years of CMM experience, and familiarity with Zeiss CMM and Calypso software. Strong problem-solving and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical manufacturing environment
• 1-2 years of CMM experience
• Experience programming or modifying CMM inspection programs
• Experience with Zeiss CMM and Calypso software
• ASQ or other recognized Quality certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM equipment and other precision tools to verify conformance
• Develop, maintain, and run CMM inspection programs (Zeiss Calypso preferred)
• Conduct process audits and spot checks on the floor for improvements
• Communicate quality concerns with operators and engineers, guiding issue resolution
• Maintain inspection records, ISIRs, Gage R&R studies, and calibration data
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams
