Kondex Corporation, a leading manufacturer of cutting and wear-resistant components, is seeking a Quality Technician to support off-shift operations on the manufacturing floor. You will perform precision inspections, run CMM programs, and contribute to continuous improvement with production teams.

You will read engineering drawings, execute GD&T checks, maintain quality data, and help root-cause issues while ensuring products meet customer specifications.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in a technical manufacturing environment
• 1-2 years of CMM experience required
• Associate degree preferred in quality or related field
• ASQ or similar certification is a plus

Aufgaben

• Inspect components using calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs and optical comparators
• Develop and run CMM inspection programs (Zeiss/Calypso)
• Conduct process audits and spot checks on the shop floor
• Communicate quality concerns with operators and supervisors
• Maintain SPC methods and control charts for processes
• Read engineering drawings and GD&T callouts to verify conformance
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Maintain inspection records and quality data documentation
• Support and monitor gage calibration program
• Evaluate dispositions for non-conforming materials
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and manufacturing efficiency
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and leadership on quality culture
