Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Quality Specialist to perform inspections of manufactured products and ensure they meet applicable specifications.

This role requires careful review of production reports, first article, in-process and final inspections, and calibration of gages in a fast-paced second shift. The ideal candidate has strong reading and writing skills, basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Must read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Must be able to write.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and optical comparators.
• Minimum 5 years in a machine shop environment.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three years related experience or combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured products to ensure specifications.
• Review production reports for accuracy of materials, revisions, P.O., etc.
• Perform first article, in-process and final inspections.
• Review internal files for accuracy and revision.
• Calibrate and verify gauges; perform minor repairs.
• Support quality assurance through audits and reviews.
