Job summary

RGC is seeking a Second Shift Quality Inspector to be the backbone of a precision manufacturing operation. You will perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure every component meets customer, company, and industry requirements.

Interpret blueprints, analyze control plans, and operate metrology tools including CMMs, micrometers, and calipers. PC-DMIS or Modus programming is preferred. Maintain calibration records and support corrective actions on nonconformances.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in manufacturing or quality assurance.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and precision measuring tools.
• Foundational math and geometry knowledge.
• Calibration experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Execute first piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Inspect incoming vendor materials and verify outgoing shipments.
• Interpret blueprints, customer specifications, and control plans.
• Program and run manual and CNC CMMs (PC-DMIS / Modus preferred).
• Own calibration activities and records.
• Identify/reject nonconformances and collaborate on corrective actions.
