Job summary

Empower Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector for the second shift. You will verify parts against customer drawings throughout production, from in-process checks to final inspection, and document findings to prevent issues reaching customers.

You will read prints confidently, record data accurately, and collaborate with Quality Engineering, Customer Support, the Quality Supervisor, and the Plant Manager to resolve deviations quickly, while staying sharp on a full

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting drawings and customer specifications.
• Knowledge of GD&T and drawing interpretation.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools listed in the role.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections to verify parts meet requirements.
• Interpret drawings and specs to determine inspection requirements.
• Complete inspection checklists and record data accurately.
• Electronically file inspection records and share with customers as required.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Customer Support, the Quality Supervisor, and Plant Manager to resolve deviations.
• Use micrometers, dial indicators, optical comparators, height gauges, gage blocks, and pins to verify conformance.
• Follow work orders and company procedures to maintain quality and productivity.
• Adhere to all safety requirements.
