Job summary

Perdue Foods, part of Perdue Farms, is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician for the Cook facility in Perry, Georgia. You will monitor production processes, verify compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and GFSI guidelines to help maintain a safe, high-quality environment throughout plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field.
• Experience in food quality and/or safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product reviews to ensure compliance with grading, packaging and weights.
• Monitor adherence to Quality and Food Safety Policies.
• Perform product reviews with Operations Group.
• Familiarity with GMPs and Sanitation Operation Procedures; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assess potential for foreign material contamination in assigned areas.
