Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Production Supervisor for the New Philadelphia area to lead second-shift operations, coaching staff, optimizing production, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role partners with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and CI teams to meet customer expectations and improve performance, reporting, and compliance on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred, or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coach employees, and solve day-to-day production challenges.
• Experience with production scheduling, quality systems, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production employees to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow to meet customer demand.
• Ensure products are manufactured to specifications while maintaining quality standards and accurate production reporting.
• Foster a culture of safety by enforcing HSE policies, conducting incident investigations, and supporting corrective actions.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement teams to resolve production challenges and improve performance.
