Job summary

STS Packaging seeks a Production Supervisor for Second Shift to lead the Finishing Department in Mooresville, IN. The role ensures timely, quality production, directing daily operations, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment under the plant manager's guidance.

The candidate will train staff, enforce GMP/SQF standards, and optimize line performance while coordinating with material handlers and quality teams to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience operating finishing equipment.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and work ethic.
• Basic understanding of OEE and quality checks.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supports Feeder/Packers to meet production goals.
• Adheres to production schedule and optimize for cost, quality, delivery.
• Manage productivity, breaks, and line downtime tasks.
• Trains team on paperwork, quality defects, and safety policies.
• Maintains GMP and SQF procedures for food contact products.
• Ensures inventory, scrap logging, and line dashboard updates.
• Communicates targets and product specs to the production team.
• Oversees 5S standards and palletizing flow coordination.
