Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Production Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and packaging equipment on the evening shift. The role emphasizes mechanical, electrical and pneumatic repairs, reading blueprints and schematics, and adhering to GMP/OSHA safety standards to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance or production mechanic role.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; strong safety focus.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Fabrication skills: welding, brazing, acetylene torches; operate shop equipment.
• Maintain pumps, bearings, power transmissions, vacuum and pneumatic cooling systems.
• Familiar with GMP and SOAP documentation; adhere to OSHA and LOTO policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on 2nd shift.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, control diagrams and work orders.
• Disassemble, fabricate, weld, braze and reassemble components as required.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and cooling systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Document repairs and RCFA in maintenance records.
• Support packaging machinery maintenance and changeovers to meet schedules.
