Job summary

ProStaff Workforce Solutions in Orlando, FL is seeking a Production Mechanic - 2nd Shift to maintain and repair production and packaging equipment in a GMP environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and electrical systems, plus the ability to read diagrams and SOPs. Direct-hire, 2nd shift from 3pm to 11pm, with hands-on maintenance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Mechanical field or related field.
• 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical systems.
• Experience in a cGMP environment.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code preferred.
• Professional certifications such as SMRP, IHM are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stand for long periods. (contextual)
• Lift up to 50 pounds. (contextual)
• Work in a manufacturing environment with allergens.
• Overtime may be required, including weekends.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment per SOPs.
• Inspect and repair equipment and report wear or issues.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for projects.
• Maintain equipment inventory and documentation.
• Ensure safe and clean working conditions.
• Assist other maintenance personnel as required.
