Job summary

ATC Drivetrain is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production employees and ensure adherence to safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards. Responsibilities include hiring, training, planning, directing work, evaluating performance, and addressing issues.

The role requires leadership in a manufacturing setting, with emphasis on lean methods, cross-training, attendance management, and problem-solving to improve productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in leadership or supervision in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Supervisory experience, higher education/training; and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• An understanding of concepts for lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise up to 120 employees and oversee the activities in their area of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance; reward and discipline employees.
• Maintain training records and ensure cross-training is effective.
• Manage hourly employee attendance records for payroll and requests for time-off.
• Identify and implement lean improvements to production methods and equipment.
