Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a 2nd shift Production Team Leader to drive efficient manufacturing operations at our Mt. Pleasant, IA site. You will coach and mentor production associates, manage staffing plans, and partner with maintenance to keep equipment performing at peak levels.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to coach, train, and mentor all levels of associates.
• Ability to stand, walk, and maneuver as described in the job duties.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and off-shift as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to production team members to meet key metrics accurately and timely.
• Monitor line staffing and adjust staffing daily to meet production goals while controlling manpower costs.
• Perform routine line checks to ensure efficiency and production progress.
• Collaborate with maintenance to keep equipment running at optimal levels for quality output.
