Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Norwalk, Iowa seeks a second-shift production operator to run and monitor HTST/CIP systems, log critical process data, and keep the work area clean and compliant with USDA standards.

You will routinely perform sanitation, support other areas as needed, and uphold safety as a core value while following GMPs and quality procedures on a four days-on, two days-off schedule.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating manuals.
• Experience with process systems and sanitation is preferred.
• Ability to work OT and weekends when required.
• Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor computerized process systems and CIP/HTST equipment.
• Maintain logs of time, temperature, pressure and flow rates per USDA standards.
• Clean silos and related equipment; perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with packaging lead on start-up and status of the production line.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure food safety and quality compliance.
