Job summary

Drug Plastics is seeking a Process Mechanic for their facility in Boyertown, PA. This role primarily focuses on the set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of extrusion and injection blow-molding machines. The position requires strong mechanical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work on the second shift.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong skills in set-up and repair in the plastics industry strongly preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of mechanical experience required.
• Plastics industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and troubleshoot blow-molding machines and support equipment.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly and annual scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Assist in quality control and sorting-room operations.

Skills

Set-up and repair skills in the plastics industry

Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems

Good mathematical skills for shop calculations

Effective verbal and written communication

Ability to read and interpret cap drawings and blueprints

Education

Industrial maintenance degree or certificate
