Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in Ringgold, GA is seeking a Plant Operator to support acetylene production, filling operations, and equipment stewardship in a safe, efficient manner.

The role offers Monday–Friday 11:00 am–7:30 pm, a monthly plant incentive up to $4 per hour, a referral bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability, and a 401(k) with company match. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, forklift experience preferred, and candidates

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for and steward equipment within the production facility, including compressors, pumps, filling stations, and forklifts.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Safely manage the flow and transport of cylinders, including filling and quality checks.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and products safely.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and production activities.
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety initiatives.
