Job summary

ERS ELITE is partnering with a global automotive manufacturer to identify a Production Group Leader for second-shift Paint operations at a major West Point, GA facility. The role will lead Team Leaders and production teams, enforce safety, quality, and productivity standards, and ensure production plans are executed efficiently.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to coach and develop teams.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to motivate and develop Team Leaders and Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety, quality, cost, and productivity while supporting daily improvement activities.
• Maintain compliance with IATF/TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards and goals.
• Direct multiple Team Leaders and their production zones.
• Perform production-line input and administrative responsibilities as required.
• Promote first-time quality to prevent defects from advancing.
• Meet departmental budget requirements and identify cost-improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate across departments to achieve production targets and organizational goals.
• Communicate production performance, staffing needs, and operational concerns to management.
