Job summary

Piworld is seeking an experienced Packaging Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the packaging department in Dallas, TX. This role focuses on leadership, quality control, and timely production to meet shipping deadlines.

The ideal candidate will manage a team on the 2nd shift, ensure safety and compliance, and coordinate with production and shipping to maintain high product quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 8–12 employees.
• Hire, train, and assign daily work responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain weekly employee schedules.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Verify that products are properly packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment.
• Stop production when packaging materials or products do not meet quality standards.
• Ensure finished products meet company requirements and customer expectations.
• Monitor inventory levels of boxes, tape, and other packaging supplies.
• Operate packaging equipment and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
• Coordinate daily production activities with shipping deadlines.
• Train employees on and enforce company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with quality control and inventory management as needed.
