Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Saginaw, TX. The role is onsite and paid hourly, focusing on operating and maintaining filling and packaging equipment to meet quality targets.

You will perform routine PMs, assist in training, and ensure GMPs, safety policies, and FSMA compliance are followed while maintaining accurate production records. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good mechanical ability to diagnose and adjust machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling and packaging equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machinery via the HMI.
• Maintain production and quality records and keep area clean.
• Assist in training production assistants and ensure GMPs and safety rules.
• Sanitize filling line equipment and follow CIP processes.
• Follow SQF, GMPs, FSMA and preventive controls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
