Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a production-focused team member for the second shift, onsite. You will use the daily production schedule to determine products to process and ensure each product’s requirements—ingredients, labeling, and packaging—are met while working with food-grade oils.

Responsibilities include starting up and checking equipment, performing minor maintenance, conducting quality checks, reading schedules, and maintaining sanitation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and perform basic math accurately.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Start up and check equipment; perform basic maintenance and sanitation.
• Perform quality checks on packaging, codes and weights; ensure specs.
• Read daily schedule to identify line requirements.
• Follow GMP, safety, QA policies and FSMA.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel and coordinate with relief staff.
• Support daily production efficiency and sanitation.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Follow all food safety policies and preventive controls.
• Other duties as assigned.
