Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking an Outbound Dock Supervisor to oversee dock operations and supervise dock associates in the dock and/or yard. You will coordinate shipment routing, loading/unloading, and ensure timely close-out of P&D units and inbound processes.

The role emphasizes loss prevention, efficient warehouse layout, and assignment of duties with strict adherence to policies. A proactive approach to risk management is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of dock or leadership experience or completion of Southeast’s Management Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dock operations and supervise the activities of dock associates assigned to the dock and/or yard.
• Coordinate routing of shipments and loading/unloading of freight.
• Ensure P&D units are closed at agreed times and special customer requests are handled on time.
• Oversee inbound close-out to ensure timeliness.
• Plan warehouse layout considering turnover, size, weight and storage factors.
• Assign duties and review work for accuracy and policy conformance.
• Maintain focus on risks and implement appropriate loss prevention controls.
