Job summary

Little Leaf Farms is seeking a Second Shift Operations Manager to lead the McAdoo site during the 2nd shift, overseeing production, packing, and logistics while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This role is the top on-site leader for the shift, reporting to the General Manager and driving operational excellence across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• 5–10 years leading large teams (50+) in manufacturing or greenhouse.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
• Strong analytical skills with KPI management.
• Excellent communication; able to work independently under pressure.
• Willing to work full 2nd shift; support 24/7 as needed.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd shift operations across seeding, harvest, packing, and shipping.
• Act as senior leader on site during 2nd shift and coordinate with teams.
• Oversee production, packing, and logistics to meet KPIs.
• Partner with Quality, Sanitation, and Maintenance to address issues.
• Manage a team of 100+ employees to achieve yield, efficiency, OTIF.
• Drive Lean continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure GMPs and food safety compliance; uphold policies.
• Provide daily shift reports and handoffs to next shift.
