ASSA ABLOY South Central Service Center in Mesquite, Texas is seeking an Operations Supervisor on second shift to lead a 30+ person team. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while championing lean improvements across multiple production areas.

You’ll collaborate with leadership to meet production goals and budgets, coach staff, and ensure on-time delivery of high‑quality output in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and process improvement.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ERP exposure beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations for a 30+ person team.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and lean initiatives.
• Ensure customer orders are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Plan and schedule resources to meet production goals.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to support growth.
• Maintain safe equipment, tools, and work environments.
• Collaborate with leadership to execute operational strategies and budgets.

What would you do as our Operations Supervisor?

You’ll oversee daily production operations for a 30+ person team, lead continuous improvement efforts, and ensure customer orders are completed safely, accurately, and on time.

You would also:

• Lead production operations across frame manufacturing, door frames, door modification, and welding cells
• Maximize productivity while minimizing waste and inefficiencies
• Ensure on‑time delivery and high‑quality output
• Plan and schedule resources to meet production goals
• Drive lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives
• Train, coach, and develop team members to support flexibility and growth
• Maintain safe equipment, tools, and work environments
• Implement quality control standards and corrective actions
• Collaborate with leadership to execute operational strategies and budgets
• Special assignments as assigned

The Skills and Experience You Need:

High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience in metal forming or similar manufacturing environments preferred
• Exposure to lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and process improvement methodologies
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• ERP system experience preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
