Job summary

Oliver Inc. is seeking a press operator for the second shift to set up and run multi-color packaging jobs. You will review job packets, mount plates, and manage inks and fountain solutions while maintaining print quality through densitometry.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience on a multi-color offset or similar press, strong color vision, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Excellent color vision and discrimination; comfortable with fractions/decimals.
• Basic computer literacy is preferred.
• At least 1 year operating a multi-color offset, flexographic, or gravure press or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run multi-color packaging work on the press during second shift (3:00pm–11:30pm).
• Review job packets and proofs, mount plates and blankets, and ensure inks, coatings, and fountain solutions flow smoothly.
• Verify color with scanning densitometry; detect non-conformances early and keep the pressroom clean and safe.
