Job summary

Oliver Inc. is seeking a skilled pressroom operator for our 2nd shift in Los Angeles.

You will set up, feed, and run a multicolor, high-speed Komori press, perform make-ready, load substrates, monitor quality, and troubleshoot feeds to keep production on spec and on time. You bring at least 3 years of pressroom experience, mechanical aptitude, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read instructions, and work independently or with a team.

• 3+ years in a pressroom or comparable manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read/understand instructions and work independently or on a team.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.; comfortable bending, stacking, and using a pallet jack.
• Consistent focus on safety, quality, and throughput.

Responsibilities

• Set up (make-ready) and feed sheets on a multicolor, high-speed Komori press.
• Run diverse substrates: paper, paperboard, foil, and plastic; maintain top-tier quality.
• Troubleshoot feeder performance and assist with scheduled maintenance.
• Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Partner closely with the press operator to meet quality and productivity goals.

About The Opportunity

Step onto our pressroom floor at 3:00 pm. You meet with the lead operator, review the job ticket, and set the feeder for a multicolor, high-speed Komori sheetfed press. You dial in make-ready, load paper, board, foil, or plastic, and start the run. Throughout the shift, you monitor sheet feeding, keep quality tight, troubleshoot any misfeeds, and lend a hand with periodic and preventive maintenance. By 11:30 pm, you've helped deliver work that is on spec, on time, and ready to impress our customers.
