Oliver Inc. is seeking an experienced offset press operator for a 2nd shift. You will set up the sheetfed offset press, dial in color targets, and ensure prints meet specs. You’ll log measurements, adjust ink/water balance, and keep the press area productive and safe.
As the run progresses, monitor density, dot gain, and consistency, performing preventive maintenance and communicating any quality concerns promptly to minimize waste and downtime. You will hand off a precise report at shift end.

Your shift begins at 3:00 pm. You review job tickets, confirm substrates and calipers, and set up the sheetfed offset press. Make‑ready is your canvas: you dial in color targets, register, and impression, then bring the first sheets to spec. As production scales, you constantly watch density, dot gain, and consistency—tweaking ink/water balance and feeders in real time. You log measurements, keep schedules moving, and elevate any quality concerns early to minimize waste and downtime. Between runs, you perform preventive maintenance and keep the press area spotless. At 11:30 pm, you hand off an accurate report and a satisfied customer.
2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
