Job summary

Adecco in Norwich, CT is seeking a dependable Press Attendant to join our manufacturing operation on the 2nd shift. The role involves keeping molding machines supplied with the correct resin and production materials, monitoring presses and grinders, and assisting with material changes.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in manufacturing or material handling, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or industrial experience is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret simple work instructions.
• Ability to lift/move materials and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and machinery.
• Forklift/pallet jack experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep molding machines supplied with correct resin and production materials.
• Review material settings and production requirements at shift start.
• Monitor molding presses and grinders to ensure proper operation.
• Clean hoppers, loaders, and grinders during material changes.
• Install new materials and assist with color changes.
• Set up and calibrate color feeders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
