Job summary

Connecticut Spring & Stamping is seeking an Assistant Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Farmington, CT. This role reports to management in the Operations Departments and focuses on supervising teams, training staff, and maintaining quality service delivery on the factory floor.

The Assistant Supervisor oversees scheduling, performance monitoring, and collaboration with senior managers to optimize productivity while enforcing safety rules and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination of activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods.
• Help plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
• Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance to ensure the work group operates at maximum efficiency.
• Assist in the review and balancing of labor.
• Provide knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice.
• Know proper procedures for workers to follow and ensure compliance.
• Train as needed and relay training needs to supervisor.
