Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Machinist I in Norwich, CT to support the Tooling department. The role involves cleaning, inspecting, and changing over injection molds to meet daily production needs.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hands-on experience with industrial machinery, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read and follow instructions. Forklift experience is a plus and lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Requires mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems.
• At least 1 year hands-on experience with industrial machinery or tooling.
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, or measuring tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and prepare injection molds for production.
• Perform mold changeovers according to production requirements.
• Inspect molds and components for wear or damage; replace parts as needed.
• Maintain mold documentation and tagging for traceability.
