Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. seeks a Material Handler for 2nd shift in Bloomington, MN. You will move materials and packaging, load/unload trucks, and pick/pack orders on the warehouse floor near heavy equipment. Training and supervision are provided as needed.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, identifying defective material, and following health, safety, and 6S standards. Benefits and entry requirements are outlined in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs for 100 ft.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Able to sit for long periods and perform bending/reaching motions.
• Safety mindset and adherence to safety guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, finished products, and equipment using forklift and other moving equipment.
• Accurately remove and stock products according to inventory plan and fill customer orders.
• Load and unload trucks, verify correct items are loaded/unloaded.
• Pick, process, and pack orders; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Complete cycle counts and quality checks; identify defective material.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report issues; support health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives.
• Assist with other duties to support warehouse operations as needed.
