Job summary

We are hiring a Material Handler for the 2nd shift at thyssenkrupp Materials NA. You will move materials and equipment around the facility using a forklift, with occasional use of cranes and hoists. You will work under direct supervision and handle basic issues as they arise.

The role includes loading/unloading trucks, selecting and packing orders, and performing cycle counts. You will participate in health, safety, and ISO/6S initiatives on the warehouse floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to read and write English (in Quebec, read/write French).
• Prior forklift experience.
• Safety mindset and caution on the warehouse floor.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, finished products and equipment using a forklift.
• Load/unload trucks and verify items loaded.
• Select, pack and prepare orders; may cut orders with Kaltenbach saw.
• Perform cycle counts and handle defective material.
• Inspect forklift before shift and report issues.
• Support health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives on site.
