Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a production worker responsible for all quality operations of metal case assembly in a production environment. You will assemble metal cases, insert rivets and hardware, test and package finished products, and ensure documentation meets quality standards.

The role requires basic tools experience and the ability to read blueprints and measurement devices, with potential to train others after demonstrating competency. This is an hourly, on-site position in Indiana.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience using small hand tools preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Physical demands and production environment expectations described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal cases including rivets, brackets, and miscellaneous hardware.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and documentation.
• Test, inspect, and package finished products.
• Perform metal finishing, prototype running, and related production tasks.
• Train others in similar roles when competency is demonstrated.
