Standard Iron is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support Shipping/Receiving and Fabrication/Profiling. You will move, stage, and supply materials to sustain production flow, ensuring accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with metal components.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, labels, and production documentation.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials and finished parts to and from fabrication and profiling work areas.
• Supply production equipment with the appropriate materials according to work orders and schedules.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and storage areas.
• Stage materials for upcoming jobs to support efficient workflow.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes as required.
• Verify materials, quantities, and part numbers against work orders and production documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement and assist with inventory control as needed.
• Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
