Job summary

Standard Iron is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support Shipping/Receiving and Fabrication/Profiling. You will move, stage, and supply materials to ensure smooth production flow while upholding safety and organization.

The role offers a second shift with a 4-day work week, a $1,000 hiring bonus, and growth opportunities within a growing manufacturing leader. Compliance with PPE and safety procedures is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling or manufacturing preferred.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Ability to read work orders and production docs.
• Lift up to 60 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials and finished parts to and from fabrication and profiling work areas.
• Supply production equipment with materials per work orders.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and storage areas.
• Stage materials for upcoming jobs to support workflow.
• Operate material handling equipment as required.
• Verify materials, quantities, and part numbers against work orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement and assist with inventory control.
• Keep work areas organized and safe; follow PPE procedures.
