Nortek Data Center Cooling is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for the second shift. You will lead safety, quality, and productivity efforts while driving production plans and labor efficiency. The role partners with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Maintenance to meet delivery commitments and continuously improve operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 7–10 years manufacturing experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading a shift or department in a production environment.
• Proven track record in safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, labor management, and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Lead second-shift manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Drive daily production plan execution for schedule attainment and labor efficiency.
• Provide leadership and development for supervisors and team leads.
• Monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions quickly.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies; foster continuous improvement.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to improve performance.
• Manage labor allocation, staffing, and workflow to maximize productivity.
• Lead shift start-up, performance reviews, escalation processes, and cross-shift communication.
• Drive waste reduction, inventory accuracy, and material flow improvements.
• Use ERP systems and metrics to monitor results and drive improvements.
• Support employee engagement, talent development, and succession planning.
