Job summary
Nortek Data Center Cooling seeks a Manufacturing Operations Manager for the Second Shift to lead all manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will partner with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to meet customer commitments and drive continuous improvement.
The role requires directing shift start-up, coaching staff, driving waste reduction, and leveraging ERP systems to monitor performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- 7-10 years manufacturing experience with leadership responsibility.
- Experience leading a manufacturing shift, production department, or value stream.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Lead second-shift manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
- Drive daily production plan execution and labor efficiency targets.
- Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development for supervisors and production staff.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to address constraints and improve performance.
