Job summary

Sypris Electronics, LLC in Tampa, FL seeks a Maintenance Technician (Second shift) to perform evaluation, preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, collaborating with Production leadership and engineers across multiple product lines for both commercial and Government projects.

You will troubleshoot, repair, prioritize preventive maintenance, monitor equipment performance, and maintain records of maintenance, calibration, and training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate required.
• 2+ years in electro-mechanical assembly environment.
• Experience with PC SMT process and X-ray equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem solving and Lean manufacturing exposure.
• Willingness to obtain security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line support on the production floor to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Prioritize preventative maintenance and manage calibration records.
• Monitor equipment performance and assist in improvement efforts.
• Maintain inventory of machine parts and tooling.
• Support engineering continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operators to resolve issues.
