Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to perform maintenance on office equipment, electrical projects, and production devices. You will work with outside contractors and vendors to ensure reliable operations in a 2nd shift (2 pm - 10:30 pm) environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical circuits, maintaining mechanical systems, and supporting network and computer equipment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year facilities engineering experience.
• High school Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to measure voltage and current safely and use data to troubleshoot circuits.
• Experience with 460/220/120 VAC and 24 volt DC circuits.
• Read electrical schematics and ladder logic; troubleshoot PLC functions.
• Read and troubleshoot control circuits and safety devices.
• Ability to troubleshoot network systems and cabling.

Responsibilities

• Measure voltage and current to troubleshoot circuits.
• Align bearings, shafts, and drives; adjust belt/chain tensions.
• Develop a maintenance schedule for devices based on requirements.
• Analyze cards and chips and replace if necessary.
• Troubleshoot network systems and cabling.
• Configure and troubleshoot IBM-compatible computers.
