Flint Hills Resources in Monee, IL is seeking a maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot and maintain production equipment on the second shift (3pm–11pm, Mon–Fri). This full‑time position supports our manufacturing operations with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical skills and PLC experience.
• 1 year of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of CNC machines, lathes and high velocity presses.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery to diagnose malfunctions and replace defective parts.
• Test and repair malfunctioning production equipment and notify appropriate personnel.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and improve documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical issues using drawings and testing tools.
• Work independently and make critical repair decisions with minimal supervision.
• Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
