Job summary

Superior Dairy in Canton, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift to maintain production equipment and facilities. You will troubleshoot and repair production systems, install pumps and valves, and maintain 24VDC control circuits in a safe, GMP-compliant environment.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable climbing and lifting up to 50 pounds, and will have experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and boiler/wastewater systems. Excellent safety practices and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of P&ID drawings for troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot digital and analog instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot 24VDC control circuits using electrical drawings.
• Experience with PLC controlled equipment and control logic.
• High-pressure boiler systems experience desired.
• Wastewater treatment systems experience desired.
• PC-based equipment knowledge and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of production machinery & equipment, plant, utilities & grounds.
• Repair and install sanitary pumps and valves.
• Repair and maintenance of 24VDC control circuits.
• Troubleshoot plant production systems to minimize downtime.
• Follow GMP and safety procedures and participate in safety programs.
