Job summary

Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA) is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for its Canton, Ohio facility. The role focuses on maintaining safety, reliability, and performance of production equipment and facilities, including troubleshooting production systems, installing pumps and valves, and maintaining control circuits.

The candidate should be comfortable working at heights, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and follow GMP and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of P&ID drawings within an industrial environment and the ability to use them as a troubleshooting tool.
• Ability to troubleshoot digital and analog instrumentation and analog controlled process valving.
• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot 24VDC control circuits using electrical drawings and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Food Safety and operate in a safe, organized manner.
• Repair and maintenance of production machinery, utilities, and plant facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant production systems; install pumps and valves; maintain 24VDC control circuits.
