Job summary

The role reports to the Team Lead and requires teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have at least 1 year of machine operating experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, and follow 5S and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to operate industrial machines safely and efficiently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor lumber cutting, routing, and assembling equipment.
• Make incremental process adjustments and report quality issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow Sonoco policies.
• Support other departments as needed and assist with training.
