Job summary

Bruker Carteret is seeking a Machine Operator on 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and monitor equipment, perform start-up checks, and ensure quality production while adhering to MSI standards.

This full-time role runs 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. You will document production logs, assist with maintenance, and collaborate with engineers to implement process improvements, following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math and computer skills, including Excel, needed.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures and safety rules.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor multiple equipment pieces to ensure quality production and minimize unplanned stops.
• Perform pre-operation start-up activities and ensure proper machine start-up.
• Document production logs accurately and maintain records.
• Conduct regular quality checks and assist with maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with quality and process engineers to implement changes per MSI standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in onboarding and cross-training as needed.
